Laktopol has been operating for over 30 years. At present, the scope of activity of the production plant in Suwałki covers the whole process – from purchasing milk through processing and production to domestic and foreign distribution.
Laktopol is a leader in the market of instant milk and fat filled products, one of the largest exporters, mainly to African countries.

Taking up industrial processing of whey
1998
Adaptation to new production conditions related to the requirements of European Directive 92/42/EEC. Implementation of modern whey processing technology. Laktopol becomes the only Polish producer of lactose and whey protein concentrate

Acquisition of shares in Mitex-Łosice (now Laktopol-A) – currently the leading producer of butter, whey and UHT products

Modernisation of drying equipment – increasing capacity by 50%

Launching one of the biggest and most modern drying and evaporation installations in Eastern Europe

Beginning of production of instant fat-filled milk powder and doubling it successively every year

Start-up of purchase of milk from individual farms under the name of PPHU Laktopol in Suwałki
